Next to a well respected artist, Dirty Brown is also a well known figure in the Dutch VJ scene. Professionally he started out as a resident in club Off-corso (2001) but he quickly expanded his horizon to other clubs and festivals and even far abroad. Initially sporting a rugged style in VJ-ing (hence the name DIRTY BROWN) he played the underground circuit for years. But throughout the years and the many gigs dirtybrown’s style became more sophisticated as he sought out new and interesting fields to explore. Visually his style now adapts to any kind of music and Dirty has certainly played the field…from illegal tekno raves to Erick Morillo’s smooth and warm housemusic. drumnbass, house, hiphop, breaks, techno, elektro, retro/eclectric and even live Jazzbands…Dirty Brown has visualised it all…from Brasil to Tokyo and now into the 2008 after-summer season.

Some of the artists he worked with include Secret Cinema, DMX-krew, Marco V, Armin van Buuren, Technical Itch, Boys Noize, Tiësto, Erick Morillo, Joris Voorn, Express2, Dom&Roland, Roog, Paul Elstak, Ferry Corsten, Erick E, Cosmic Gate, Neneh Cherry, Technasia, Judge Jules, Rank1, Vitalic and many more…
Venues/organisers include: Melkweg, Off-corso, Mezz, Bozzini, El Divino (ibiza), 013, Now&Wow, Heineken Music Hall, Ahoy, Nighttown, the Sand, Las Palmas, Pacha, Outland, Sugar Factory, Thalia Lounge, Hotel Arena, Effenaar, Dance Valley, Extrema Outdoor, Sziget, Red Bull, WhiteParty, , UDC, ID&T, Rush, PRSPCT.

After playing hundreds of gigs everywhere in Holland, Europe and even Japan he is reaching new heights in accompanying Ferry Corsten as a VJ and going full-on into the 2008 after-season and already preparing a flying jumpstart into 2009.
